Sustainability Framework
Pluspetrol's Sustainability Framework serves as the guiding structure that organizes and directs how we carry out our environmental, social, and governance commitments. It stems from our Sustainability Policy and aims to integrate these principles into all Company decisions and activities, in alignment with our purpose of driving sustainable energy development.


Human Rights
As part of its Sustainability Policy, Pluspetrol has established a dedicated Human Rights Policy that underscores its firm commitment to respecting human rights across all its operations and business relationships.
This Policy:
- Aligns with internationally recognized human rights standards, including the rights of employees, contractors, and all relevant stakeholders.
- Defines clear due diligence processes implemented across its business units to identify, prevent, and address potential human rights impacts.
- Applies a human rights approach across all operations and business activities, ensuring consistent and responsible management throughout the organization.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Due to the particularity of Pluspetrol's operations and the characteristics of the countries where they operate, our main contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are linked to energy production, the promotion of safe and quality employment opportunities, the generation of economic value, the support for community development through social investment, and the rational management of resources.
In line with this, Pluspetrol has worked on prioritizing the SDGs, identifying 11 strategic priority objectives:
Sustainability Report
Since 2008, Pluspetrol has prepared its Sustainability Report, a tool that enables the Company to analyze and compare its environmental, social, and governance performance through indicators, focused on sustainable development and continuous improvement. Pluspetrol operates in areas of great natural wealth and biodiversity where Indigenous Peoples are present. For this reason, the Company promotes initiatives that ensure compliance with and the protection of their rights, taking into consideration the social, environmental and cultural context.
These initiatives are inspired by local and international legal instruments on Human Rights and the Rights of Indigenous People aimed at:
Ensuring the proper conduct of workers.
Encouraging the institutional strengthening of indigenous organizations to strengthen their self-management capabilities.
Promoting respect for territorial and cultural rights through social investment programs and projectSs.
Implementing community environmental monitoring programs with the active participation of indigenous representatives.
Developing agreement, compensation and payout programs, based on consensual decisions.
