Pluspetrol is positioned as a leading company in unconventional reservoirs in Latin America, which makes it a key global player in this strategic resource.
 Argentina, a world power in shale, is a prime example. In Argentina, Pluspetrol has over half a million acres of high-potential land in the Neuquén Basin, which positions it as the company with the second highest concession area. The project being carried out by Pluspetrol includes evaluating gas (tight and shale) and oil (shale) resources, and the implementation of new drilling, completion and production technologies.
 This commitment to developing unconventional gas and oil represents a challenge and a paradigm shift in the energy sector because these operations require greater investment than conventional operations.
