Pluspetrol has been carrying out oil and gas activities in Bolivia since 1990, the year in which a gas processing plant was opened in the Bermejo area (south of the Department of Tarija) and a gas pipeline measuring 12" in diameter and 12 miles (20 km) in length to export gas to Argentina was built. In 1997, as a result of the tender of Exploration Blocks, Pluspetrol was awarded - with a 100% share - 6 exploration blocks in the San Isidro Block, where the Tacobo, Tajibo, Rio Seco, Madrejones and Curiche fields are located.
Used for the development of high-pressure gas with complex logistics. It currently has four fields that are in use. It achieves an annual production of 643 BBL/d of liquids and 81 81 MMscf/d and 1.38 MTn CO2 in Co2 emissions. It has a well with a final depth of 21,982 feet (6,700 meters).
